Thomas Bell, LCPC-CC, C-DBT
Therapist
I have mostly worked with client's struggling with substance use, anxiety, depression and trauma. I find my approach to therapy stems from a holistic type of approach which includes modalities such as Internal Family Systems, Person Centered Therapy, Trauma Focused- CBT, as well as a Trauma Informed approach in most cases. I will note that I tend to use motivational interviewing in almost every case. I find that when it comes to therapy, the client is in the driver's seat and I am the passenger. I aim to provide the most non-judgemental and empathetic environment as possible as well as always making therapy a collaborative effort.
In my spare time, I enjoy downhill mountain biking, I rescue ferral cats, and of course being a single dad raising my teenage daughter keeps me busy.
